Parameters

container
Type: AutofacIContainer
The container with the diagnostics to which you want to subscribe.
tracer
Type: Autofac.DiagnosticsDiagnosticTracerBase
A diagnostic tracer that will be subscribed to the lifetime scope's diagnostic source.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IContainer. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
Remarks

This is a convenience method that attaches the tracer to the DiagnosticListener associated with the container. If you have an event listener that isn't a DiagnosticTracerBase you can use standard DiagnosticListener semantics to subscribe to the events with your custom listener.
